As the saying goes, “Those who do not know history are condemned to repeat it.” With the guidance of expert local historians, you will explore the Small Fortress, used as a Gestapo prison, and the Ghetto Museum, which documents the heartbreaking stories of the prisoners who lived and perished here. See the poignant exhibits of drawings, letters, and personal belongings that bear witness to the resilience of the human spirit even in times of unimaginable suffering.

You will also learn about the propaganda film “Gift City,” which the Nazis produced in Terezín to deceive the world about the true conditions of the camp. This powerful visit offers a profound insight into the impact of the Nazi occupation on the Czech people and the importance of remembrance.
